Kamp K Tutoring mission is to help students help themselves, or to assist or guide them to the point at which they become an independent learner, and thus no longer need a tutor. Kamp K Tutoring believes that strong literacy skills--reading, writing, speaking, and listening --are essential in developing responsible, self-motivated learners. Kamp K Tutoring support students’ curiosity and critical thinking skills by providing diverse and relevant interactive opportunities and cross-curricular connections. Kamp K Tutoring also believe in nurture creativity, compassion, and empathy through thoughtful collaborative learning and a challenging curriculum. Differentiated instruction as well as complex and engaging texts which include increasingly rich vocabulary are utilized to increase student interest and enjoyment in reading and learning.

Welcome! My name is Lisa Jones and I am an experienced and passionate tutor specializing in Math and English/Language Arts for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. I offer both online and in-person sessions in LaGrange, GA.
I'm a proud graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Development (Class of 2016) and a degree in Education (Class of 2023). As a mother of three energetic boys, my journey into education was deeply inspired by my own children. Their curiosity and love for learning motivated me to support and uplift other young learners in our community.
My mission is simple: to help children build confidence, grow academically, and develop a lifelong love for learning. I create a safe, supportive space where students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and discover their strengths through hands-on, engaging lessons.
